I am a Machine Learning Engineer based in Yaounde, Cameroon, building decision support systems (data warehouses) and ML systems.
I'm currently a Data Engineer at Afriland First Bank, rebuilding the bank's data warehouse and fighting data quality and slow response time issues. So far I helped the team bring response time from more than 5 minutes to under 10 seconds and reach a data quality score of 86% across the organization as of today.
Before that, I worked at Toloka as an AI tutor, creating original mathematics problems and fully worked solutions used to train large language models (LLMs) in step-by-step reasoning.
I believe very few things actually matter in life. We have what I call pillars (Physique, Mind, Finances, etc.) where we must dedicate each of our waking hours. All the rest is simply noise. Based on this belief I am building an app named Intentional (Join the waitlist!).
